All On Our Own

Well, today is the first day we're on our own without Daddy or Grandma! So far so good, Chase is getting used to his bouncy seat, since that's the only way I can get anything done. He seems to like it for the most part, but likes it much better if I'm sitting there bouncing it for him.

We have an exciting week ahead of us, lots of visitors!! My good friend Lisa is coming with her husband Scott, their 10 month old Abby, and their two dogs, Charlie and Wrigley. It's definitely going to be a full house!! Then Grandma Gray and possibly Great Grandma Betty may be coming later this week, as well as Uncle Steffen.

Here's a few more pictures from the last few days.

Oh, and Chase's professional pictures should be coming in the next week or so, but there's some teaser pictures on the photographer's blog, check it out!!: www.sarahmaxeyphotoblog.com

Grandpa's in Town!!

My Dad came into town on Wednesday afternoon, a long bike ride through the rain storms and sweltering Missouri heat to visit his grandbaby!! We finally got the air fixed that afternoon, thank goodness, it was pretty miserable!!

Gettin' Hot in Here

We are officially without air conditioning, and you can imagine how well that is going over. We noticed yesterday afternoon that it was hot upstairs, and sure enough, the thermostat was reading 81 (it was set at 70), as the afternoon progressed it went from 81 to 88, and we couldn't get anyone to come out to fix it. Thankfully we have someone scheduled at 1pm today, hopefully it will be an easy and quick fix. It was a rough night, poor Chase was warm and crabby. Mommy and Daddy were tired, warm, and frustrated, but all is well this morning.

Here's a few more pictures from the last few days:

I know I already posted a Father's Day picture, but this one was too cute...
Daddy and Chase "watching" World Cup together.

This one is also from Father's Day, but the first picture of Grandma and Chase

Day 6- Happy Father's Day

Well, Chase is doing fantastic. Ron and I are wondering what we did in a past life to deserve such a good baby. He is sleeping well, eating well, and is just so stinkin' cute I can't stand it!

Ron has taken it upon himself to try and take at least 1 picture of Chase each day for the first year. Of course that's easier in the beginning when all we're doing is sitting at home oogling over him, but we'll see how it goes as the year progresses. I plan to post the pictures on here so
everyone else can watch him grow! So far day 1 and day 3 are in my last post, so I'll add a few more to catch up!
